Tomato Catsup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. tomatoes
    1 qt. vinegar
    1 qt. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. red pepper
    1 tsp. allspice
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Crush tomatoes through colander or sieve.
    Combine all ingredients in a large pan and cook slowly until thick enough. Bottle or put into jars.
