Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 Tbsp. oil
    3/4 c. Minute rice
    3 large onions, sliced
    1 large green bell pepper, sliced
    1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
    1/2 can tomato juice
    2 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In electric skillet, heat oil.
    Slowly cook onions and pepper until soft.
    Transfer to small bowl.
    Raise heat; brown meat. Drain fat.
    Return vegetables to meat in skillet; add seasonings, tomato juice, tomatoes and rice.
    Cover and lower heat to 275\u00b0 to 300\u00b0; cook until rice is soft, usually about 15 to 20 minutes.
