Old Fashion Jelly Roll - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg yolks
    2/3 c. sugar
    2/3 c. pastry flour
    4 egg whites, beaten
    1 tsp. lemon
    1/8 tsp. lemon extract
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2/3 tsp. baking powder
    2/3 c. jelly (any kind)
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks until thick and lemon colored.
    Add sugar slowly and beat until creamy. Fold in flour, mixing lightly.
    Add rest of ingredients.
    Pour to thickness of 1/3 in shallow low pan lined with wax paper.
    Bake 10 minutes in moderate oven.
    Unmold on damp cloth. Allow to stand 4 minutes.
    Peel off paper. Spread jelly on cake and wrap in wax paper.
    When ready, spread with powdered sugar.
    Any kind of jelly will do; currant, grape or plum are the favorites.
