Meat Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. chopped meat, ground twice *
    1 egg (raw)
    1 onion (medium), chopped
    1 clove garlic
    salt and pepper
    chopped parsley
    1 leaf fresh basil
    3 slices stale bread
    1/2 c. grated Romano cheese
    olive oil (to brown meat balls)
    1 stick margarine
Preparation
    *One pound beef, pork and veal mixture is best, but hamburger, or chopped steak will do.
