Asparagus Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (16 oz.) cans asparagus spears
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can mushroom soup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    4 Tbsp. melted margarine
    1 c. bread crumbs
Preparation
    Drain asparagus, reserving 1/2 cup liquid.
    Arrange asparagus in oblong casserole. Combine soup, reserved asparagus liquid, salt and pepper. Pour over asparagus and sprinkle with cheese.
    Combine margarine and bread crumbs.
    Sprinkle over cheese.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
