Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cooked squash, drained
    1 1/2 c. bread crumbs
    1 egg, beaten
    1 large onion, chopped fine
    1/4 c. butter
    1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
    1 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Mix egg, butter and cream of chicken or mushroom soup.
    Add squash, bread crumbs and onion.
    Stir well and place in a square 9 x 9-inch Pyrex dish or pan of your choice.
    (Glass cooks a little quicker.)
    Cook until almost done, then sprinkle cheese on top and let brown.
