Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to
    375\u00b0.
    Lightly grease 2 baking sheets.
    In a medium bowl, combine and cream the sugar, margarine, egg and vanilla.
    In a small bowl, combine and mix the flour, baking soda and cream of tartar.
    Blend the flour into creamed mixture.
    It will be very thick.
    Using hands, shape into balls.
    Roll each ball into a mixture of cinnamon and sugar and place on baking sheets.
    Work quickly and lightly to keep heat of your hands from making the dough sticky.
    Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool on wire rack.
