Pecan Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. Karo
    dash of salt
    1 stick margarine or butter
    1 3/4 c. milk
    4 c. chopped pecans
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In a large saucepan cook sugar, Karo, and salt over a medium heat until small amount forms a firm ball in cold water or 245\u00b0on thermometer.
    Stir constantly.
    Add next ingredients gradually so mixture doesn't stop boiling.
    Add butter, milk and pecans. Continue cooking until a small amount forms a firm ball in cold water.
    Add 2 teaspoons vanilla.
    Let stand a few minutes.
    Drop on greased muffin tins or cookie sheet 1 tablespoon at a time.
    Don't drop on waxed paper.
