Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. raisins
1 c. blackberry jam
1 c. peach preserves
1 c. pear preserves
3 c. sugar
4 c. flour
1 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. nutmeg
4 Tbsp. cocoa
6 eggs
1 c. strawberry preserves
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs and mix.
Sift flour and spices together.
Add jams and preserves to mixture.
Sprinkle flour over nuts and raisins and add to mixture.
Gradually add flour and milk (put soda in cup of milk).
Mix cocoa in warm water, making a paste.
Add to mixture.
Add 1 tablespoon water to mixture.
Cook at 325\u00b0 until done.
Ice with Fudge Icing.
