Marinara Sauce Or Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. chopped onion
1 (14 oz.) can whole tomatoes
1/2 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 tsp. minced garlic
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 1/2 tsp. basil
bay leaves
1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Puree tomatoes with juice in blender.
Add onion, tomato sauce, tomato paste, garlic, water, basil, sugar, bay leaves, oregano, pepper and Italian seasoning.
Mix well.
Simmer, uncovered, for 1 hour.
Discard bay leaves.
Serve hot over pasta. Add 1 pound browned hamburger for meat sauce.
