Souffle Sandwiches(Servings: 6) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 slices bread
    spreading butter
    shrimp, crab, chicken, ham (toppings)
    salt, pepper and paprika
    3 whole eggs
    3 c. milk
    1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation
    Remove crusts from bread.
    Butter both sides of bread; place in proper size pan deep enough to hold milk.
    Top with can of toppings.
    Place another piece of buttered bread on top of each. Beat eggs together with milk and add grated cheese; pour this mixture over bread sandwiches.
    Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350\u00b0.
    This can be prepared a day ahead and refrigerated.
    After baking, one can garnish with a few asparagus tips or a little mushroom gravy, depending on the choice of filling.
    Serves 6.
