Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. lean ground beef
2 medium onions, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 medium green pepper, diced
3 Tbsp. chili powder
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
1/2 (3 oz.) can tomato paste
1 Tbsp. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. oregano leaves
1/2 tsp. paprika
1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
Preparation

Cook ground beef, onions, garlic and green pepper in a 4-quart saucepan over high heat until beef is browned, about 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
Add chili powder; cook 1 minute.
Stir in tomatoes with their liquid, tomato paste, brown sugar, oregano and paprika.
Heat to boiling, stirring to break up tomatoes.
Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in kidney beans with their liquid; heat thoroughly.
