Ingredients

1/2 lb. cranberries, halved
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. golden raisins
1/2 c. chopped apple
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
pinch of ginger
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. grated onion
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a heavy saucepan.
Bring to a boil while stirring constantly.
Reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes, stirring every few minutes to avoid sticking and scorching. When done, set aside to cool.
Store in fridge.
Makes 2 cups.
