Icebox Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    3 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt (may be omitted)
    1 c. brown sugar
    3 eggs
    2 tsp. cinnamon or nutmeg
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. pecans
Preparation
    Beat sugars and shortening thoroughly until creamy.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Add dry ingredients to mixture and beat until well blended.
    Add pecans.
    Make into rolls with Saran Wrap and refrigerate overnight.
    Slice and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
