Peanut Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. shortening
    1/4 c. soft margarine
    1/2 c. peanut butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 egg
    1 1/4 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix together.
    Chill dough in refrigerator for one hour.
    Roll into balls the size of large walnuts.
    Place 3 inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheet.
    Flatten with fork dipped in flour; crisscross.
    Bake until set but not hard.
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0. Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
    Makes about 2 1/2 dozen.
