Mrs. Harter'S Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 egg whites
1 c. granulated sugar
2 c. Crisco
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix together egg whites and granulated sugar.
Beat over double boiler until thick and foamy (150\u00b0).
Cool.
Add Crisco, powdered sugar and vanilla.
Beat until smooth.
