Cheeseroni - cooking recipe

2 c. macaroni noodles
1 lb. ground beef or sausage
1 can tomato soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 green pepper, diced
1 onion, chopped
1/4 c. chopped pimento
2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 can French fried onions
Preparation

Cook macaroni according to package directions.
In a large skillet, brown meat with chopped onion. Add soups, green pepper, pimento and cooked macaroni; mix.
Place half of the mixture in a greased 2 1/2-quart casserole. Sprinkle with half of the cheese and half of the French fried onions. Top with remaining macaroni mixture, then cheese.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes. Top with remaining French fried onions and bake 5 minutes longer. Serves 6 to 8.
