Ingredients

1 c. margarine or butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. finely chopped dates
2 Tbsp. milk
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. salt
4 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. pecans
1 can coconut
Preparation

Melt butter in heavy pan.
Stir in sugar.
Add dates.
Stir until mixture leaves the sides of pan.
Stir in milk.
Add well beaten eggs and salt.
Cook 2 minutes and then remove from heat. Add vanilla, 4 cups Rice Krispies and 1 cup nuts.
When cool enough to handle, roll out into walnut size balls.
Roll into coconut.
These freeze well.
