Elephant Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 elephant
    2 rabbits (optional)
    175 lb. carrots, sliced
    100 (16 oz. cans) beef gravy
    fresh ground pepper
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Slice carrots and cut elephant into bite-size pieces (this takes about 3 months).
    Add enough gravy to cover meat.
    (Be prepared to go through several \"hand can openers\".) Cook over kerosene fire for 4 to 5 weeks at 465\u00b0.
    This will serve approximately 3,800 people.
    If more come to dinner than expected, the 2 rabbits may be added, but do this only if necessary, as most people don't like hare in their stew!
