Ingredients

1/2 c. oleo
1/2 c. shortening
1/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. water
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream oleo, shortening and sugar.
Blend in water and vanilla. Add flour and nuts.
Roll out on floured board and cut into desired shapes or can be rolled into log shape, chilled and cut into 1/4-inch slices.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 15 minutes until lightly brown.
When slightly cool, coat with powdered sugar.
Makes 3 to 4 dozen.
