Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

1 egg
1 c. cornmeal
1 c. (8 1/2 oz.) cream-style corn
2 Tbsp. oil
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. sugar
1 c. Cheddar cheese
2 Tbsp. jalapeno peppers
Preparation

Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
Grease an 8-inch square baking dish. Lightly beat egg in bowl.
Add remaining ingredients; stir until blended.
Pour into prepared pan.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Makes about 8 servings.
