Yeast Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cake yeast
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. lukewarm water
    1 egg
    5 c. sifted flour
Preparation
    Scald milk, add sugar and salt and let cool.
    Add yeast to warm water and dissolve.
    Add this to milk mixture and add 1/2 of the flour and beat until smooth.
    Add egg, shortening and remaining flour.
    Knead on floured board.
    Bake in cupcake pan.
    Pinch off pieces to fill 1/2 of cups, let rise until full.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 until brown.
