Mom'S Bohemian Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening or oleo
4 eggs
1 c. milk
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coconut
1 c. pecans, chopped

Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Grease tube pan.
Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs one at a time.
Beat well; add milk and flour alternately (flour sifted with baking powder).
Add vanilla, coconut and pecans.
Bake about one hour; when batter does not stick to toothpick, it is done.
