Goulash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion
    1 clove garlic
    1 lb. boneless stew beef
    1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. paprika
    1 c. tomato juice or soup
    3/4 c. water
    4 medium carrots
    4 Tbsp. oil
Preparation
    Cut meat into 1-inch cubes, then roll in flour.
    Brown on low temperature in fat.
    Chop onion fine.
    Chop garlic.
    Cut carrots into 2-inch lengths.
    Add all other ingredients together and pour over the browned beef.
    Cover and cook at very low heat for 1 1/4 hours.
    Add carrots the last 30 minutes of cooking.
