Creamy Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. milk
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 (4 serving size) pkg. vanilla pudding (not instant)
    1 c. dry Minute rice
    1/4 c. raisins (optional)
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Gradually stir milk and eggs into pudding mix in saucepan. Add rice and raisins.
    Stir over medium heat until mixture just comes to a boil.
    Pour into serving bowl and chill about 1 hour.
