Green Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rice, uncooked
    1 c. sour cream
    1 (2 oz.) can chopped green chilies
    1/2 lb. Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
    salt and pepper to taste
    butter
Preparation
    Cook rice according to package directions.
    Mix cooked rice, sour cream, green chilies and seasonings.
    Place half the mixture in a greased baking dish.
    Top with a layer of shredded cheese. Repeat layers; top with dots of butter.
    Bake for 30 minutes or until heated throughout.
    Yield: 4 to 6 servings.
