German Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. milk
    3/4 c. margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    4 large McIntosh apples, diced
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. flour
    2 tsp. margarine
Preparation
    Cream together milk, margarine, vanilla, sugar and egg.
    Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, apples and nuts.
    Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle on cake before baking.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
