Ingredients

4 qt. sliced cucumbers, not peeled
8 onions
1 red pepper
1 green pepper
1/4 c. salt
ice cubes
5 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
1 tsp. whole cloves
2 Tbsp. celery seed
2 Tbsp. mustard seed
3 c. distilled vinegar
Preparation

Put all vegetables into a pan.
Sprinkle salt over all.
Cover with ice cubes.
Let stand until ice melts.
Drain.
Add remaining ingredients.
Bring to a boil and can.
