Buttery Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
2 c. peanuts
1 c. lite Karo
1 c. margarine
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Heat and stir sugar, syrup and water in 3-quart heavy pan until sugar dissolves.
When syrup boils, put in butter.
Add peanuts.
Cook until cracking stage.
Remove from heat and add baking soda.
Pour on an ungreased cookie sheet.
