Bread And Butter Pickles(Light Recipe) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. vinegar
    2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. celery seed
    2 tsp. turmeric
    1 tsp. ground mustard
    1/4 tsp. mustard seed
    4 qt. sliced cucumbers
    1 qt. sliced onions
Preparation
    Slice and soak cucumbers overnight; drain.
    Combine cucumbers and onions.
    Bring vinegar, sugar and spices to a boil.
    Pour over sliced vegetables and let stand one hour.
    Bring all ingredients to a boil and cook 3 minutes.
    Pack and seal in hot sterilized jars.
    Makes 2 1/2 cups.
