Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. or 5 to 6 medium squash
    1 small onion
    3 tsp. margarine
    1 c. milk
    1 c. grated cheese
    1 c. cracker crumbs
    2 eggs, beaten
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook squash and onion until tender. Drain off water.
    Mash. Add margarine and 1/2 cup cheese. Stir until melted.
    Add milk, crackers and eggs.
    Season to taste.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven until slightly brown around edges of a buttered casserole dish.
