German Potatoes - cooking recipe

8 to 10 diced red potatoes
1 lb. bacon
3 Tbsp. bacon drippings
1 Tbsp. Lawry's seasoned salt
1 Tbsp. coarse ground pepper
1 c. real mayonnaise
1 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation

Fry bacon and drain grease off.
Reserve 3 tablespoons bacon drippings and let cool thoroughly.
Boil potatoes and drain water; set aside.
In small mixing bowl, mix the mayonnaise, garlic powder, pepper, cooled bacon drippings and salt.
Crumble fried bacon and add 3/4 of it to mixture.
Stir mixture into the potatoes and top with the remaining bacon pieces.
