Ice Cream Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 c. oatmeal
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. flour
    2 sticks margarine
    1/2 gal. ice cream
    1 jar ice cream topping (caramel, etc.)
    1 (12 oz.) Cool Whip
Preparation
    Mix pecans, oatmeal, brown sugar, flour and margarine well. Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven on cookie sheet about 30 minutes.
    Stir often. Stir cool.
    Spread 1/2 on 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Pat in soft ice cream.
    Pour topping over ice cream.
    Top with rest of crumbs. Top with Cool Whip.
    Freeze.
