Marinated Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bunch carrots
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. oil
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 medium onion, sliced or chopped
    1 bell pepper, sliced or chopped
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Cut carrots into 1/2 dollar size pieces.
    Cook for 2 or 3 minutes, then drain.
    Mix all other ingredients.
    Pour over cooked carrots and let stand overnight.
    Will keep a long time in refrigerator.
