Holiday Pecan Tassies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3 ounce package cream cheese, softened
    1/2 cup and 1 tablespoon softened margarine
    1 cup sifted all purpose flour
    1 egg, lightly beaten
    3/4 cup packed brown sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    Dash of salt
    2/3 cup chopped pecans
Preparation
    Pastry Dough:
    Blend cream cheese with 1/2 c. margarine until smooth.
    Add flour; blend well.
    Chill for about 2 hours or overnight.
    Shape into 24 one inch balls; press into 1 3/4 inch muffin cups.
