Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter flavor Crisco
    1 c. peanut butter
    1 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. Quaker oats, uncooked
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    granulated sugar
Preparation
    Beat first 3 ingredients until creamy.
    Beat in water, egg and vanilla.
    Add combined dry ingredients.
    Mix well.
    Cover and chill about 2 hours.
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Shape into 1-inch balls. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet; flatten with a fork dipped in granulated sugar.
    Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
    Cool 1 minute on a cookie sheet; remove to a wire rack. Cool completely.
    Store tightly covered.
