Fruit Cake Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    1 box brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. soda
    3 Tbsp. canned milk
    5 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    12 slices candied pineapple
    1 lb. candied cherries
    2 lb. dates
    3 lb. pecans
    3 eggs
Preparation
    Cream together the butter and sugar. Add beaten eggs and canned milk with soda added to it.
    Add batter to cut up fruit and nuts that have been mixed with flour.
    Mix well and drop spoonfuls at a time onto cookie sheet. Bake at 320\u00b0 until done.
    The mixture will be very stiff. Store cookies in dry place after cooled thoroughly with wax paper between layers.
