Baked Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. margarine
    2/3 c. flour
    7 c. milk
    4 large potatoes, baked, peeled and cubed
    4 green onions, sliced
    12 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
    1 1/4 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
    1 c. sour cream
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Melt margarine in large pot; stir in flour, stirring until smooth.
    Add milk slowly, stir constantly until thickened.
    Add potatoes and onion.
    Bring to a boil, stirring.
    Reduce heat; simmer 10 minutes.
    Add remaining ingredients; stir until cheese is melted.
    Serve immediately.
    Yields 2 1/2 quarts, 8 to 10 servings.
