Sweet-Sour Red Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large head red cabbage, shredded
1/2 c. boiling water
1/2 c. vinegar
3 Tbsp. butter
1/4 c. sugar or 6 pkg. Sweet 'N Low
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Put cabbage in saucepan with boiling water, vinegar and butter.
Cover and cook slowly for 45 minutes.
Stir in sugar and salt.
Continue cooking until there is little liquid left and cabbage is tender.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
