Snap Beans And New Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped onions
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 lb. fresh snap beans, broken in pieces
    2 to 3 c. water
    2 beef bouillon cubes
    1/2 lb. chopped ham
    10 new potatoes, washed with peels left on
    6 slices bacon
    salt and red pepper to taste
Preparation
    In heavy pot, fry bacon over medium heat until done.
    Remove bacon.
    Add butter and all seasonings.
    Saute for 5 minutes.
    Add all ingredients except potatoes and boil, covered, for 45 minutes. Add potatoes; season to taste and cook 30 minutes more.
    Serves 6.
