Ingredients

1 stick butter
1 stick margarine
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 egg
3/4 c. oil
2 tsp. vanilla
grated rind of 1 orange
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. oatmeal
1 c. coconut
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. Rice Krispies
Preparation

Cream and mix well the butter, margarine, brown sugar, white sugar, egg, oil, vanilla and orange rind. Combine and add flour, salt, soda and cream of tartar.
Mix and stir in oatmeal, coconut, pecans and Rice Krispies. Drop walnut size on cookie sheet. Pat down slightly.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Makes 70 to 80 cookies.
