June Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    lettuce
    3/4 c. celery
    1/2 c. green pepper
    1 medium red onion, thinly sliced
    1 bag uncooked frozen baby peas, cooked for 1 minute
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. bacon bits
Preparation
    Cut lettuce enough to cover bottom of casserole.
    Mix mayonnaise and sugar together.
    Layer lettuce, celery, pepper, onion and peas.
    Spread mayonnaise over the peas.
    Cover with cheese.
    Sprinkle bacon bits on top.
    Cover with Glad Wrap and let set overnight.
    Beat if made a day ahead.
    Enjoy.
