Golden Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. carrots, sliced (raw)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 (4 oz.) can pineapple, crushed
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. salt
    dash of nutmeg (optional)
Preparation
    Cook carrots in salted water until tender.
    Drain; reserve liquid.
    Add water to make 1 cup.
    Make a sauce from margarine, cornstarch, 1 cup water and pineapple juice.
    Add salt and nutmeg. Fold in carrots and pineapple.
    Serve hot.
    (Works well to put in casserole and warm up next day in oven.)
    Serves 8 to 10.
