Ingredients

1 can pie-sliced apples
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. maple syrup
10 to 12 slices French bread (1-inch thick)
4 eggs
1 c. milk
1/2 c. half and half
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Spray a 9 x 13 baking pan with Pam.
Spread pie-sliced apples in bottom of pan.
Sprinkle apples with cinnamon.
Pour syrup over apples; spread if necessary to coat evenly.
Arrange bread slices in one layer over top of apples.
Blend eggs, milk, half and half and vanilla together and pour carefully over bread.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
