Crisp Crusted Baked Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 frying chicken (3 to 3 1/4 lb.), cut up
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 c. instant potato flakes
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. garlic powder (optional)
    1/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
    celery leaves and thinly sliced celery for garnish
Preparation
    Wash chicken pieces.
    Pat dry.
    Beat egg and milk in one bowl. In another bowl, mix potato flakes, garlic powder and cheese.
    Roll chicken, first in egg mix, then potato flakes mixture.
    Melt butter or margarine in shallow baking pan.
    Roll chicken pieces in butter and place them, skin side up in pan.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
