Creamy Tomato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium onion, chopped
2 Tbsp. butter
2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans diced tomatoes (undrained)
2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans condensed tomato soup
1 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 to 1 tsp. dried basil
1/2 to 1 tsp. paprika
1/8 to 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
Preparation

Saute onions in butter until tender.
Stir in tomatoes, soup, milk, sugar and seasonings.
Bring to boil; reduce heat.
Cover and simmer 10 minutes.
Stir in cream cheese until melted.
Serve immediately.
Can make ahead, reheat and add cheese just before serving.
