Granola - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. regular oatmeal
1 1/2 c. wheat germ
1/4 c. powdered milk
1 1/2 Tbsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 c. bran, wheat or oats
1/4 to 1/2 c. vegetable oil
2/3 c. honey
1 Tbsp. vanilla
2 c. sunflower seeds
2 c. nuts, raisins, dates or other dried fruits (in any combination, according to personal preference)
Preparation

Mix the first 6 dry ingredients in a large bowl. Combine and heat vegetable oil, honey and vanilla. Add this to the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. Spread mixture on cookie sheet(s). Bake at 250\u00b0 for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Cool thoroughly. Add sunflower seeds and the preferred combination of dried fruit/nuts.
Store in airtight container.
