Crispy Oven Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter, melted
    1 Tbsp. scallions, chopped
    1 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    4 large unpeeled potatoes, thinly sliced
    1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Lightly grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Combine melted butter with the next 5 ingredients.
    Layer potatoes in baking dish, brushing each layer with butter mixture. Bake for 40 minutes or until tender.
    Sprinkle with cheese and bake for 5 minutes.
    (Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours, if desired.) Serve with pork or sausage.
