Ingredients

1 (9-inch) baked pastry shell
4 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate
1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. (1 pt.) whipping cream, whipped
Preparation

In a 2-quart glass measure with handle, combine chocolate, sweetened condensed milk and vanilla.
Cook on 100% power (High) 2 to 4 minutes, stirring after each minute until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth.
Cool to room temperature, about 1 1/2 hours.
Beat until smooth.
Fold in whipped cream.
Pour into prepared pastry shell.
Chill 4 hours or until set.
Garnish as desired.
Refrigerate leftovers.
Makes one 9-inch pie.
