Au Gratin Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 to 8 medium potatoes, sliced
chopped onion to taste
1/4 c. butter
1 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 c. milk
2 c. shredded cheese
3 to 4 pieces of crumbled bread
Preparation

Place sliced potatoes in bottom of casserole dish.
Saute onion in butter.
Add flour, salt and pepper.
Cook over low heat stirring constantly until bubbly.
Remove from heat.
Add milk and 1 1/2 cups cheese.
Heat to boiling; stir constantly for 1 minute. Pour over potatoes.
Cook uncovered for 1 hour at 375\u00b0.
Mix remaining cheese and bread crumbs, sprinkle on top.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes more.
